ChemengCo is participating in conceptualisation, feasibility and process coordination, for a new private chemicals initiatve based in the CDZ (Coega Development Zone) near Port Elizabeth.
Ambatovy Nickel - 2007, 2008 and ...
ChemengCo is participating in process design and engineering managment of Ammonium Sulphate Plant for Ambatovy Nickel with VWS Envif for SNC Lavallin and client.
PBMR Fuel Plant
ChemengCo participated in process design and engineering managment of the PBMR Fuel Plant with Process Projects for Nukem and ultimately PBMR.
Clariant Southern Africa - Upgrading and Refurbishment Measures - 2005/6
ChemengCo upgraded the off-loading system complete with detonation protection, explosion protection, agitators and other improvements at Clariant.
Clariant Southern Africa - Upgrading and Refurbishment Measures - 2004
ChemengCo put together the necessary engineering and costing to effectively cost estimate and scope improvements at Clariant.
AAFC (Pty) Ltd. - Engineering for Evaporation and Solvent Recovery - 2004
ChemengCo engineered and costed a new process for producing a natural extract and associated solvent recovery and evaporation plants.
BOC Edwards SA
ChemengCo engineered and costed a KOH Regeneration Plant for the Sirius Project at NECSA, Pelindaba.
Impala Platinum Limited Springs, Gauteng (2003 2004)
Process engineering
for an Ammonium Sulphate PICC Crystalliser from conception through detailed
design Ongoing.
BOC Edwards SA
Pelindaba, North West Province (2003)
ChemengCo provided
process engineering services on the Nitrogen Tri-fluoride Plant Upgrade Project
ranging from conceptual to detailed design, implementation and commissioning for
various Plant modifications.
LignoTech South Africa Plant Expansion Unkomaas,
KZN (2001 2003)
Contracted through AR
Process Projects (Pty) Ltd, ChemengCo provided the Lead Process Engineer,
Commissioning Manager and Process Engineer for this R 270 million project a
joint venture between Sappi and Borregaard. ChemengCos involvement ranged the
entire project from Class 10 cost estimation through basic and detailed
engineering to installation and commissioning.
Sappi Stanger Basic Engineering Study Stanger, KZN (2003)
Assisted with the
compilation of basic engineering for a R250 million plant.
Sappi Stanger Expansion Upfront Engineering

Contracted through AR
Process Projects (Pty) Ltd, ChemengCo provided Process Engineering Services for
the upfront design, engineering and Class 10 cost estimate of the Outside
Battery Limits (OBL) portion of the Sappi Stanger Expansion Project.
Clariant Southern Africa Reaction Containment System

This complete EPCM
project encompassing a Reactor Venting System and Containment Vessel was
undertaken from the conceptual design phase through to installation and
commissioning.
Sasol Fibres Carbon Fibre Plant Feasibility Study

ChemengCo was involved in the process engineering deliverables for this feasibility study commissioned by the IDC
